Jony, on your own computer.

The app runs each engagement on your machine. The data room, the figures and the drafts stay in your folders. Only the signed method comes from Jony.

The same app on macOS and Windows.

Each download is signed, and its fingerprint is listed here so your IT team can check the file before it runs.

After you install

Four steps to your first engagement.

About five minutes. You need the invitation your administrator sent you.

  1. Open Jony

Start the app from Applications on a Mac, or from the Start menu on Windows.

  2. Sign in

Use the email address your administrator invited. Jony is in private beta, so access starts with an invitation.

  3. Choose your assistant

Jony works with the assistant your firm already pays for: Claude, Codex, Hermes or an API key on a Mac, and Claude on a Windows PC for now. Your administrator can lock this choice for the whole team.

  4. Open an engagement folder

Point Jony at the folder that holds the data room. The files stay where they are, on your computer or your team's shared drive.

Never reaches Jony

  • Data room documents
  • Figures, analyses and notes
  • Databook and draft report
  • The name of the target

Comes from Jony

  • Signed method pages, one at a time, on demand
  • A licence notice in your name on every page

Working in Claude, Codex or Copilot instead of the app? Connect Jony to your assistant.

For IT teams

Check the file before it runs.

Compare the fingerprint above with the one your computer computes, then check the signature. Both commands are built into the system.

macOS

Planned: Apple Developer ID, notarised by Apple.

Terminal, on a Mac
# 1. Compute the fingerprint and compare it with the one above shasum -a 256 ~/Downloads/Jony.dmg # 2. After installing, check the Apple signature spctl --assess --type execute --verbose /Applications/Jony.app

Windows

Planned: Code signing certificate.

PowerShell, on Windows
# 1. Compute the fingerprint and compare it with the one above Get-FileHash -Algorithm SHA256 .\Jony-Setup.exe # 2. Check the signature Get-AuthenticodeSignature .\Jony-Setup.exe
Questions

Before you install.

Which Mac do I need?

A Mac with Apple silicon (M1 or later) running macOS 14 Sonoma or later. Macs with an Intel processor are not supported.

Which Windows PC do I need?

A PC with Windows 10 or 11 and an Intel or AMD processor. As on a Mac, our team installs the app with you: request your invitation.

Does the app send our documents anywhere?

The app reads and writes files in your engagement folder. Jony itself only sends method pages to the app. What your assistant sends to its own provider follows the agreement your firm has with that provider.

Can I use Jony without installing anything?

Yes. Claude, Codex and GitHub Copilot can read the Jony method directly. See how to connect them. The app adds the engagement screens, the databook and the report on top.

How do I get an invitation?

Jony is in private beta. Request your invitation on the home page, or ask the administrator of your firm's Jony workspace.
